The story so far
I graduated with a BA (Hons) Degree in Surface Design from the UAL London College of Communication and have since been invited to sell my tableware collections in pop-ups and at markets across London, including King's Cross' brilliant Canopy Market.
When I'm not designing my own collections, I work as a Textile Designer for a Soft Furnishings company in Hertfordshire, designing and styling bedding, cushion, throws and readymade curtain collections; working on brands including Orla Kiely, Skinny Dip, Holly Willoughby and Emma Willis x Dunelm. You can see examples of my textile work here.
DesignED to bring the magic of storytelling into our homes
Welcome to my website!
I am a Surface Designer and screen-printer who creates prints and accessories for the home, rich in colour and narrative, inspired by our most loved childhood stories.
A silk screen obsessive, I welcome the hiccups and happy accidents that can accompany my design process. It's this experimental approach to print-making and strong hand-drawn style that bring these stories to life through print.
Once upon a tea time
Grown from my family's Italian heritage and childhood memories of sitting around the dinner table to eat and share stories, was the main inspiration behind my first tableware collection, launched in 2014! It's been lovely to grow this idea and see my collections grow to other products, including home textiles and art prints.
‘Isabella’s tableware is designed with the thought of families and friends sat around a table using her objects while they share stories together. Her designs are incredibly imaginative and all hold a story of their own.’
